The short version. SecretBCN has no accounts and asks you for nothing. Your location never leaves your phone. Two things do leave it: the record of your purchase, if you buy Pro, and whatever you choose to send us through the support form.
SecretBCN is a mobile application offering narrated guides to monuments, activities and restaurants in Barcelona. This policy explains what happens to data when you use it. We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Spanish Organic Law on Data Protection (LOPDGDD).

SecretBCN has no registration, no login and no user profile. We never ask for your name, phone number or address, and there is no password to forget. You can use the app, watch the free guides and buy Pro without ever identifying yourself to us.
If you grant location permission, the app reads your position to sort nearby monuments and centre the map. That coordinate is held in the app’s memory while you use the screen and is never transmitted anywhere — not to us, not to any third party, not to any server.
The permission is entirely optional. Every part of the app works if you decline it; you simply lose the “nearest first” ordering. You can revoke it at any time in your device settings.
Nothing else is sent. The app contains no analytics, no advertising, no tracking pixels and no social network integrations.
Your payment details. Card numbers and bank information are handled entirely by Apple’s App Store or Google Play. They never reach the app, and they never reach RevenueCat either.
Some preferences are stored locally so the app behaves sensibly between sessions: your chosen language, your favourites, and whether you have already seen the introduction. These persist until you uninstall the app, and are never transmitted.
These act as service providers processing data on our behalf. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone, for any purpose.
Purchase data is processed to perform the contract you enter into when buying Pro. Location and support messages are processed on the basis of your consent, given when you grant the permission or choose to write to us. You can withdraw that consent at any time.
Purchase records are retained by RevenueCat for as long as the purchase is valid, which for a lifetime unlock means indefinitely — that is what makes “restore purchases” work years later. Support emails are kept as long as needed to resolve your query and for a reasonable period afterwards. We keep no other records.
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. In practice, since we hold almost nothing about you, this usually concerns support correspondence.
SecretBCN is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
Every connection the app makes is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Because we hold so little, there is very little to lose.
We may update this policy to reflect changes to the app or to legal requirements. The date at the top always shows the current version. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
